Middle School Mush

   Today is Valentine’s Day, the day that the martyr St. Valentine is celebrated after he secretly married couples in Rome during Claudius’ reign when he absolved all marriages so men would  in the military. He also helped Christians escape prison and fell in love with a jailer’s daughter whom he signed a letter to with the words “From your Valentine.” St. Valentine was put to death, but St. Valentine was seen as a heroic figure in England and France and then in 498 AD Pope Gelasius announced that February 14th would be a day to honor St. Valentine.          However, Valentine’s Day also celebrates the love and appreciation people have for each other just like the love St. Valentine had for the people he helped. What I've Learned in College 2

Once again, I have written a list of things that I've learned in college that is not discussed even though they need to be.  1. Coffee in College This past week I had Landscape Architecture which I ended up dozing off in, so the next class I knew I had to be would be awake, so I stopped by Starbucks and got a black coffee. Most people add something to their coffee, but I didn’t, so I felt very cool and adult like when I had mine. I drank it and wow, I was awake! My landscape Architecture class was fabulous, I was the only one who answered questions and I was so engaged! I took notes on my laptop (which I thought I’d need incase I got bored and wanted to shop.) and did fabulous! However, afterwards I had an awful headache the rest of the day and crashed, I was so tired. I thought to myself "This is probably what drugs feel like (Yes, I know coffee is a stimulant}" So, I went on with my day drowsy and with a hurt head. I don't know if ...
