A Comprehensive Guide to My Celebrity Crushes

Good Morning! I thought it would be fun to write a comprehensive guide to my many celebrity crushes over the years. Some of them are pretty popular paramours, while others aren't typically thought of when the word "heartthrob" is brought up, and some you probably forgot exist. I listed them in order of when I began liking them. I also added photos of each heartthrob as well as why I liked them or a memory regarding them .  I noticed while compiling this list that as I grew older I began to like boys for how they seem to act and who they seem to be instead of solely their looks. I also noticed that many of them have similar features. Anyways, enjoy!

Jesse McCartney

Who didn't love Jesse McCartney?! I remember liking him around 2007. In a diary (I'm a big diary girl) I had I wrote that I had a crush on Jesse McCartney and Shia LeBouf. I had taken my diary to the kitchen to show my mom what I had written. She was on the phone talking with her friend Alicia. I put the diary in front of her and she began reading it to Alicia! I snatched it up and went back to my room. My mom had thought I wanted her to read it aloud instead of silently. I remember sitting in my room thinking something along the line of "She shouldn't have done that. Now, I won't tell her stuff and moms want their kids to tell them stuff." I was just so embarrassed. The result of this was years of hiding the hotties I love from the family.

Shia LeBouf

This is where my celebrity crushes begin to get weird. Few people are attracted to Shia Lebouf now, let alone 14 years ago. I began to like him after watching the movie, Holes. I don't know what I liked about him though. Also aside from the diary story mentioned above I don't remember much about my attraction for him.

Kevin Jonas

Another unpopular pick is Kevin Jonas. While, many people liked and continue to like Joe and Nick, few people seem to be attracted to Kevin. However, I was. I don't know, but I think I liked his hair. I remember thinking how I didn't like boys with curly hair, aside from Kevin of course. Funny thing is many boys on this list have curly hair.

Mitchell Musso

When was the last time you heard of the name Mitchell Musso? It's probably been years. I don't know when I began liking him, but it was around the time he had began wearing massive cubic zirconia studs. I remember in 4th grade talking to a teacher and being so excited to just bring up his name. I would daydream that I were older, a popstar, together with Mitchell, and attending one of his concerts. I'd just watch him perform standing on the outskirts of the audience evaluating his performance, but glad I was there. Bizarre, I know. In the photos I added he's really rocking the 2008 emo girl side swept hair and he kinda looks like my dad.

Justin Bieber

What would a list of celebrity crushes be without Justin Bieber? I LOVE JUSTIN BIEBER! He's hot and seems to be more real and kind now. I didn't always love him though. I first saw a Music Choice advertisement for 2009 music or something and it featured Justin. I saw the "One Less Lonely Girl" music video and decided he wasn't for me. I even created my own parody of "Baby." Years later in August of 2012 my friend group (or really the friend group that I was sometimes allowed to stand in, but sometimes stood outside of until around November when I was officially a friend) was discussing the newest Justin Bieber music video "As Long As You Love Me." I was curious so I watched it and at first I felt bad for the car that Justin Bieber was getting beat up against. However, I eventually fell for Justin and have been a pretty loyal belieber since. Although, I did end my daily Bieber news check during 2014 when he began sleeping in brothels and egging houses, but it's okay we all make mistakes. Plus, he now regrets not saving sex until marriage! That 'I'm a 19 year old worth 200 mil' stage of his life is photographed in the first photo above when he was partying in the now defunct Beta nightclub in Denver.
In high school, I was convinced I was going to marry Justin and had a whole plan on how to meet him. Obviously, it didn't work out because I'm writing this and also because he canceled his 2017 stadium tour where we were to meet. Sometimes, my heart would hurt because I loved Justin Bieber so much. I was talking to my brother the summer of 2018 about how I'd never stop loving Justin until he was engaged or married. Literally the next day he proposed to Hailey Baldwin. I think he could've done better i.e. me. A few weeks ago he performed his newest song "Lonely" (shown above) on "Saturday Night Live." He sounded so good, seemed so real and was so cute. I think I have Bieber Fever.

Ryan Lochte

Jeah! Jeah! Jeah! I REALLY liked Ryan Lochte and his stupid phrase, "Jeah". I first found out about him during the 2012 Olympics and thought he was a stud, although I did want him to lose against Michael Phelps as it was supposed to be Michael's last Olympics. I think his face structure is very nice and angular. I remember that after school one day before swim practice my friends and I talked to one of our teachers that brought up how Ryan Lochte had flip flops with his name engraved on the bottom in order to leave his name printed on the ground wherever he walked through water, because let's face it if there's anything Ryan Lochte is, it's cocky. I haven't heard good things about him, but hopefully he's more kind and grounded now that he has kids.
In 2013 I watched his reality show, "What Would Ryan Lochte Do?". I loved watching his show. I learned a lot from him regarding swimming techniques, training, and how to work hard. I also learned a lot of fun things that would disrupt my swimming such as blowing ring bubbles and blowing my cap up (both seen in the photos of him above). Once in the locker room I had a cap on, pulled it over my eyes and nose, secured it with my hands and blew it up by breathing in through my mouth and out my nose. I think it blew it up really big, but then it snapped in my eyes and I had a hard time seeing for a few minutes after. If only I had a photo. I should try that again. However, I still do ring bubbles and am pretty good at them! So, I'm glad I learned a lot from Ryan Lochte.
It's too bad that he looks older now, but he's still pretty cute. I just think he's looking more and more like any other white guy, however I guess that's the least of his concerns because as of 2019 his finances weren't doing well. After Rio he went from making more than a million a year to about $75,000 a year according to this article . Homeboy probably wasn't saying "Jeah" at that. Regarding swimming, his performance in the 2019 Phillips 66 U.S. Swimming Nationals was alright, hopefully he can do well at the next Olympics!

Channing Tatum
Raise your hand if you've ever accidently purchased Magic Mike XXL?! I have! I first began liking Channing Tatum when The Ellen Show showed a trailer of Magic Mike XXL with Channing "welding" and dancing to "Pony" by Ginuwine. I don't think I liked Channing Tatum straight off the bat, but I was watching Ellen with my mom and I was trying to watch the Magic Mike XXL trailer, because I mean it was interesting and then my mom started poking fun at me and I think she imposed her liking of Channing Tatum onto me. From there on I really liked Channing Tatum. Unfortunately/ fortunately, depending on your view, my mom wouldn't let 14 year old me go to the movie theatre and watch Magic Mike XXL. In 2015 my mom was out of town so I wanted to watch Magic Mike XXL trailers on the TV. I was also curious if I could control the remote control only using my feet. So, I searched for the movie, found it, and noticed there were extra scenes. I clicked on them and briefly noticed I was asked to purchase the movie, but it was too late, I think my toe clicked too fast or I wasn't thinking because I had just purchased Magic Mike XXL. I told my dad, but he didn't care and my mom noticed weeks later when paying bills. We still own Magic Mike XXL. However, I can't watch it for too long because I start feeling guilty. Also, in 2017, my mom was driving me to swim practice at 4ish or 5ish in the morning and we were listening to the radio. "Pony" by Ginuwine had came on and my mom started singing along. That was so awkward. I asked my teammates that morning if that had ever happened to them, it hadn't.

Jonah Hill
Another oddball. Jonah Hill is more of a joke than anything. Whenever another crush gets coupled up I like to say that I'll just have to settle Jonah. Although, he's funny and has a nice smile.

Zach Efron
For a few weeks I really liked Zach Efron. I watched a lot of interviews and he seems like a kind person that enjoys the outdoors. He's also has such a muscular build and has beautiful blue eyes. Sometimes, I don't really like the fact that he sometimes plays dumb characters. I don't have many memories regarding him though, it was a short crush.

Ralph Lauren Models

I love Ralph Lauren models!
I don't even know if they count as celebrities. Regardless, nearly all of them are handsome. They just have incredible cheekbones and just so pretty. The above two are my favorite. I wish I knew their names though. Nice Casting RL.

Timothee Chalamet

Timmy T! Timothee is one of my newest favorites! From what I've seen he is a genuinely kind, loving, sweet, respectful, humble, grounded, dedicated, talented, stylish, confident, goofy, young man that loves to learn and has a fantastic sense of humor. He has a beautiful smile when he laughs, gorgeous curls like mine, and cheek bones that could cut diamonds. He's an excellent actor, especially in "Little Women" and "Lady Bird." You can really see his sense of humor in his statistics video and his 2012 talent show performance. My friends Abby and Emily don't think he's that cute because he's very skinny and lanky. I don't mind though, because he seems like such a genuine, wonderful person and fun to be around. The photos I added are from his latest GQ interview. It would be a pleasure to meet him.

Pete Davidson

Pete Davidson! For the record, I was aware of Pete Davidson prior to him dating Ariana Grande and thought he was cute, while on Weekend Update during his first SNL season. I started liking Pete Davidson within the last few years. He has an incredible sense of humor. I think the funniest things he says are things that he says off the cusp and aren't necessarily thought of prior. He also seems so kind, respectful, caring, and loving based on how he acts and treats people. For example, when modeling for Alexander Wang he kindly took time to say hi to supermodel, Cara Taylor and encourage her. That's very kind. He also seems fun to be around. I hope he's as fab as he seems. Once again, he is another person that would be a pleasure to know and meet.

Anyways, I had fun compiling the list and realizing I have a very interesting taste. Hopefully, you enjoyed it as well. God Bless!

20 Activities for 20 year Olds

Good Morning Family and Friends! Recently I have been incredibly bored, hopefully my online classes will entertain me more. I have previously stated that I wasn’t practicing social distancing or whatever, however my mom has been making me stay inside more often and now Colorado is on lockdown. I looked up activities for 20 year olds and didn’t find anything, I guess people make these lists for stay at home moms with young children. So, I decided to make my own list for you, the audience, if you’re bored (which if you’re reading this you probably are) and looking for something to do. Read Woah, how original...read. I don’t read for pleasure often. In the summer I read The Great Gatsby  and I usually read one of Father Greg Boyle’s books some other time in the year. I also read my Vogue magazines. Two books and a magazine isn’t that much. However, since there is more time to do stuff, I figured I could read more. My brother gave me The Princess Bride to read, I’ve read a lit...

The Best Experience of my Young Life: Casa Bonita

I read an article by Westword that read if Disneyland and Tijuana had a baby and left it to fend for itself in a strip mall on Colfax, it’d be Casa Bonita. I finally got to experience this gem with some of my friends, Nai and Hannah, who have also been eager to try the restaurant out.       We pulled into the packed parking lot of Casa Bonita that stood in the same shopping complex as two dollar stores and a kids dental office next door. People surrounded the outside as the fountain splashed and I took photos as rapidly as a mom on Christmas morning. This was it, the best of themed dining experiences. We entered into a very confusing entryway and found the line, but first we stopped by the bathroom, which happened to be very nice. We stood in the red velvet roped line with other epicures, such as ourselves, waiting to order at the register. The line was dark, but illuminated by Corona neons, a sign with the words “Easto Much, Peso Little”, a vi...

Things I've Found on the Ground

Family and friends, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! It has been a while since I've published a blog post, but after audience interest in the rekindling of the blog here I am at the 11th hour to ensure a numerical year doesn't go by without a post. I guess I've been gone because I've been busy or less inspired…I don't know. Anyways, for the past two years (and some months) I’ve taken pictures of things I find on the ground, some of  them are amusing, so I’ve decided to share some and write little stories for each. So, please enjoy a small collection of photos and commentary of things I’ve found on the ground.  Making Love in a Hopeless Place Where: Walmart Parking Lot When: December What: An Open Condom Wrapper Can anyone imagine a more romantic place to cement your love than a Walmart parking lot. I surely can't. Forget fireworks you have the rustle of your grocery bags in the back seat. Meanwhile the cold midnight air wafts in through your cracked windows a...
